Ayah 2 Play Ayah
ذَٰلِكَ dhalikaThatٱلۡكِتَٰبُ al-kitabu(is) the Bookلَا lanoرَيۡبَۛ raybadoubtفِيهِۛ fihiin itهُدٗى hudana Guidanceلِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ lil'muttaqinafor the God-consciousﰁ
TRANSLITERATION
dhalika al-kitabu la rayba fihi hudan lil'muttaqina
English - Sahih International
This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -
Ayah 3 Play Ayah
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhinaThose whoيُؤۡمِنُونَ yu'minunabelieveبِٱلۡغَيۡبِ bil-ghaybiin the unseenوَيُقِيمُونَ wayuqimunaand establishٱلصَّلَوٰةَ al-salatathe prayerوَمِمَّا wamimmaand out of whatرَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ razaqnahumWe have provided themيُنفِقُونَ yunfiqunathey spendﰂ
TRANSLITERATION
alladhina yu'minuna bil-ghaybi wayuqimuna al-salata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiquna
English - Sahih International
Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them,
Ayah 4 Play Ayah
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhinaAnd those whoيُؤۡمِنُونَ yu'minunabelieveبِمَآ bimain whatأُنزِلَ unzila(is) sent downإِلَيۡكَ ilaykato youوَمَآ wamaand whatأُنزِلَ unzilawas sent downمِن minfromقَبۡلِكَ qablikabefore youوَبِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ wabil-akhiratiand in the Hereafterهُمۡ humtheyيُوقِنُونَ yuqinunafirmly believeﰃ
TRANSLITERATION
wa-alladhina yu'minuna bima unzila ilayka wama unzila min qablika wabil-akhirati hum yuqinuna
English - Sahih International
And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].
Ayah 5 Play Ayah
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ulaikaThoseعَلَىٰ ala(are) onهُدٗى hudanGuidanceمِّن minfromرَّبِّهِمۡۖ rabbihimtheir Lordوَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ wa-ulaikaand thoseهُمُ humutheyٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ al-muf'lihuna(are) the successful onesﰄ
TRANSLITERATION
ulaika ala hudan min rabbihim wa-ulaika humu al-muf'lihuna
English - Sahih International
Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

Ayah 6 Play Ayah
إِنَّ innaIndeedٱلَّذِينَ alladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْ kafarudisbelieve[d]سَوَآءٌ sawaon(it) is sameعَلَيۡهِمۡ alayhimto themءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ a-andhartahumwhether you warn themأَمۡ amorلَمۡ lamnotتُنذِرۡهُمۡ tundhir'humyou warn themلَا lanotيُؤۡمِنُونَ yu'minunathey believeﰅ
TRANSLITERATION
inna alladhina kafaru sawaon alayhim a-andhartahum am lam tundhir'hum la yu'minuna
English - Sahih International
Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.
Ayah 7 Play Ayah
خَتَمَ khatamaHas set a sealٱللَّهُ al-lahuAllahعَلَىٰ alaonقُلُوبِهِمۡ qulubihimtheir heartsوَعَلَىٰ wa'alaand onسَمۡعِهِمۡۖ sam'ihimtheir hearingوَعَلَىٰٓ wa'alaand onأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ absarihimtheir visionغِشَٰوَةٞۖ ghishawatun(is) a veilوَلَهُمۡ walahumAnd for themعَذَابٌ adhabun(is) a punishmentعَظِيمٞ azimungreatﰆ
TRANSLITERATION
khatama al-lahu ala qulubihim wa'ala sam'ihim wa'ala absarihim ghishawatun walahum adhabun azimun
English - Sahih International
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.
Ayah 8 Play Ayah
وَمِنَ waminaAnd ofٱلنَّاسِ al-nasithe peopleمَن man(are some) whoيَقُولُ yaqulusayءَامَنَّا amannaWe believedبِٱللَّهِ bil-lahiin Allahوَبِٱلۡيَوۡمِ wabil-yawmiand in the Dayٱلۡأٓخِرِ al-akhiri[the] Lastوَمَا wamabut notهُم humtheyبِمُؤۡمِنِينَ bimu'minina(are) believers (at all)ﰇ
TRANSLITERATION
wamina al-nasi man yaqulu amanna bil-lahi wabil-yawmi al-akhiri wama hum bimu'minina
English - Sahih International
And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers.
Ayah 9 Play Ayah
يُخَٰدِعُونَ yukhadi'unaThey seek to deceiveٱللَّهَ al-lahaAllahوَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhinaand those whoءَامَنُواْ amanubelieve[d]وَمَا wamaand notيَخۡدَعُونَ yakhda'unathey deceiveإِلَّآ illaexceptأَنفُسَهُمۡ anfusahumthemselvesوَمَا wamaand notيَشۡعُرُونَ yash'urunathey realize (it)ﰈ
TRANSLITERATION
yukhadi'una al-laha wa-alladhina amanu wama yakhda'una illa anfusahum wama yash'uruna
English - Sahih International
They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.
Ayah 10 Play Ayah
فِي fiInقُلُوبِهِم qulubihimtheir heartsمَّرَضٞ maradun(is) a diseaseفَزَادَهُمُ fazadahumuso has increased themٱللَّهُ al-lahuAllahمَرَضٗاۖ maradan(in) diseaseوَلَهُمۡ walahumand for themعَذَابٌ adhabun(is) a punishmentأَلِيمُۢ alimunpainfulبِمَا bimabecauseكَانُواْ kanuthey used (to)يَكۡذِبُونَ yakdhibuna[they] lieﰉ
TRANSLITERATION
fi qulubihim maradun fazadahumu al-lahu maradan walahum adhabun alimun bima kanu yakdhibuna
English - Sahih International
In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.
